| we will win and we will lose. whether your for or against this, having come through the vietnam period, i feel for these men and women over there. they are there because of being in the service, and were ordred to do so. the republican guard is 100,000 strong, and they will fight, people getting aid now in the very far south, as reported this morning are not doing hand flips that we are there. imo-it has not even started yet-it is going to get ugly, and real bad. i support our people because i am an american, but after 911- the U.S. squandered so many ways of dealing with this, with the help of others, and now a lot more of our people are going to die. when it's over, a lot of the world that hates us, will hates us 10X more. and we will not be any more safe than before. somebody else, somewhere else will take their cause up. it's a shame, that our government cannot seem to learn, 1-you can't buy friends, 2-we, the U.S. cannot police the world, 3. we, the U.S. cannot feed the world, and 4- we the U.S. cannot take everybody into this country that does not like the country they are living in. imo-i see some really distressing times ahead for this country, this and the after, is going to cost a lot. |
