Re: "Could it because Greenspan is doing a super good job?" That is highly debatable. Even Greenspan himself would tell you that his job is not done yet! Beside he is the one who caused the 87 crash. Why he gets the credit for the current market success is way out of line? He was talking the market down when the S&P was at 860 or so that's over 500 points ago. I'm sure he would love to see it go back down to those levels. It is not him or his money who is responsible for market's current success. Technology, productivity and the baby boomer generation's retirement funds have more to do with it. He is acting very irrational currently with interest rates, unfortunately he will not stop until it is much too late and we are in a recession. The FED has caused all the recessions since the great depression based on fear of that era. The FED always has and is currently acting on FEAR! And it is "We The People" who must suffer before they stop! It has nothing to do with playing the markets correctly. Even If one stays out of the markets once the FED creates a recession all their money will be used up before it's over. Sure those with cash will get through it much easier than others but nonetheless the FED's purpose is to drain as much cash out of the system as they deem necessary to maintain the masses in a wanting state of affairs. If you are not a billionaire you will fell the suffering of their purpose sooner or later and you will have no control over it! TTOSBT
