Lynne is watching a show, Real Life, or True Life, on MTV. It features a spoiled 20-something blond bimbo who had worked for Lehman Brothers. She probably made $150,000 or more a year and thought she had it made in the shade. She lost the job, obviously, in the financial crash and. . . shudder . . . is now working in a restaurant and hair salon. Bitching about how unfair life is and how hard she's having to work.

These kids thought they were something special and now they're struggling. Why do I feel no sympathy?
