My wife and I had over a hundred rose bushes at one time, and I would bring roses to work and put them in a jar on a different lady's desk every time. Some of them got roses more than once. Today I would never do that. And never ever say "Hi good lookin'! How ya doin'?" I did that once to a woman who remains to this day a close friend, and you could have heard the icicles drop. And what should a guy do when a woman more or less deliberately brushes her breasts against him? I had this happen to me once, and although I thought she was hitting on me I just ignored it and it went away. And then there was the time I was trying to identify a friend to some people at work with whom I was having lunch. "Oh, you know, he's the big black guy." "Well! That certainly was racist." No it's not. I don't know how else I could have identified my friend. And by the way a black classmate who was one of my best friends in grade school attended scout camps with me. We were the only two kids from the troop who did, and we slept together in my tent and cooked our pancakes over a fire. He forgave me when I stepped back into his frying pan and messed up his pancakes.
