To be fair, there is one difference between Kurlak and Peck. As I recall, Kurlak's reasons for downgrading Intel had to do with issues concerning Intel and little to do with AMD. Peck, on the other hand, never says anything positive about Intel, and was quick to point out how much damage AMD can do to them. Peck thinks himself as "cautious" on Intel, but the fact that early in 1997 he was among the first to jump on the AMD bandwagon, says he is full of it.
