Never been harassed by a bank. I once threatened a mortgage company that I would write the State of NJ's office on bank regulation.

A trick I learned from a brother who was a GM @ NY Life. He said whenever the State Regulatory Agencies notified him, he dropped everything and fixed the problem. I used it twice in insurance cases. Worked like a charm, both times.

The mortgage company fixed the problem, just on my threat to contact the State.
