Yes that is what i meant. Mike has been a great resource for this thread. There are many other pro-war folks who have gotten their backs up at other pro-war folks who have criticised current admin policy. I think i have more in common with mccain and biden than i now do with rummy and cheney. I particularly liked the Brooks article yesterday which talked about how americans jump into wars with Wilsonian idealism and end up finding practical less ambitious solutions to real problems. We are in that place in iraq now. They may not get western democracy in iraq in this go-round but maybe they will get a non-terror regime with public support and a federal representative basis. mike
