yeah I am going to wait for some kind of market signal before buying for sure. I'm sure not going to buy anything now! I'm afraid to long OR SHORT. On rental RE, I bought an REO rental early this year. Rents had already increased 20% here when I went to rent it. Even if you have a mortgage on a rental property you can rent for the same as the mortgage or very close which is practically unheard of in the bay area, the market is upside down It sure looks like with the US debt situation that inflation is coming back.
