RFMD's earnings should not directly impact QCOM, but it is the likely culprit today, IMO. The following quote in the article is potentially misleading: "RF Micro also has agreements with companies such as Motorola Inc. and Qualcomm Inc., and has expanded to other products such as cable modems." The relationship with QCOM is only very recent. But, the article implies that QCOM is contributing to the slowing growth.
