The GOP didn't get the memo...they want to do more tax cuts which are not short term stimulative at all. He needs to use his office to start shaming these guys into convergence and they have to stop trying to score cheap political points on the strength of the dem's poor leadership in both houses...he's given bipartisanship a try...this is DC we're talking about He's giving the GOP enough rope to hang themselves. And hanging they are. Obama's approach to things is harder and takes longer but the fruits are greater. I have learned to be patient with his approach.
