I see it a bit differently. For this first contract I think Amati is ecstatic Alcatel won. A DMT win puts them on first base. How big is the Gang of Four contract? In the larger scheme of ADSL roll-out, what percentage is it for, say, 1996-1998? I agree that the royalties are secondary to Amati. I'm grateful for the Alcatel win and, now, pulling the camera back for a broader view, I wonder what will take them to second base?
