oooo I did that when I was a kid!!!! This guy was a Pro Engineer at Newark College of Engineering. Had a Ph. D from NYU. When I was getting my Bachelor's degree we became friends and years later we swapped ideas about our Apple }{ s in the late '70s. So he blew his up once....he had about 5 grand worth of stuff in his Apple }{. It took us about $70 and a few trips to an electronic second hand shop to fix his machine....he did the same thing, tried to re-seat a board while the power was on. It's crazy when you get too close to these machines, if you know what I mean. That's why I had children! Now, if the machine blows up..."Hey Pat, fix this g*** thing, fer chrissake." He knows he has to fix it, if not then I get his** machine.
