I do not think that your generation was all bad. Please don't misunderstand me on that. However, what really stikes me is how a generation can go from flower children to a group of angry, avaricious day traders in such a short period of time. (Don't call it maturing - it's not.) The ideals your generation professed before you had real power and your subsequent actions of "Look out for number 1" show a great deal of hypocrasy. Don't try to argue that you couldn't help hunger or that you couldn't stop ethnic cleansing. You could have if you had really cared. My indictment of your generation is not your original intent or really your actions - it is the hypocrasy that you displayed. To allow atrocity and enviromenal disasters to continue when you had the power to stop it is what I find inexcusable. I will grant, however, that there was a substantial amount of people in your generation who stuck with an ideal. Those people deserve recognition. The rest of you irritate me. I think we'll just have to agree to disagree.
