Why would anyone sell Ascend to buy COMS? Do they have any new products which are being as well received as Ascend? What products are they currently selling that Intel isn't driving the price lower? The reason why their stock price is low is due to the fact that they basically sell commodities in an environment when new products are constantly being developed. Ascend took the necessary beating and came back with a vengeance. COMS stated that they can't compete with Cisco in their markets. Ascend is kicking ass in the WAN and winning contracts with ISPs, RBOC's. What is COMS doing? Waiting for pricing pressures to cease? Sure, the stock is cheap. Probably will get cheaper in the future. Hey, Madge,CS are cheap also. Any buyers on those companies? Happy investing RP
