Hi Ken, Options are so multifaceted that is why there are books dedicated to the strategies involved in buying and selling options. I would be happy to discuss any aspect of option trading. I use them frequently on high priced stocks since it requires too much cash to actually buy a decent number of shares. Leverage is the name of the game. As a for instance, I gave Sergio and Cary a short call on MRK on Monday $119 per share. Mentioned buying MRK puts ..... hehehehe .... MRK down $6 since Monday. Should MRK not hold tomorrow .... it will drop another $8 to $104. I can't short MRK .... just requires too much margin ....whereas I fork up $2K and triple my investment. Love it ! I don't beleive Sergio and Cary played this ..... but I know someone who is ;-). Amigo Mike
