it has held up better than many technology issues...... It has dropped 40% in the last 10 weeks including today's 7% drop. You're right that some other techs have dropped even more, but JMAR is being hit proportionally harder of late and is not recovering as much as other techs in rallies. The average price for 1997 is about $3 so I would not have expected much tax-loss selling until the last couple of days. I suspect something else is hurting this stock. Raising that $3M seemed to have hurt some; perhaps this being viewed as paltry sum for such fund raising effort (JMAR lost more than $3M in market cap today). $10M from DARPA is probably CPFF contract for refurbishing Govt furnished laser and reimbursing some associated JMAR labor cost, ie., perhaps it is not a significant "new" funding source. Martinez didn't generate much enthusiasm with "JMAR is divisible in three parts" speech; could be costrued as too many parts for Martinez to handle. Just some of my thoughts. Hold off responses til I put on my antiFLAME suit ........ OK, am ready. Regards, Tulvio
