Hi Ardner! I followed Larry Dudash's home page on a regular basis. When he stopped publishing, I thought I had lost my source for DRAM prices. I am glad to hear Larry is reports spot prices on MU Thread.

You are right: Larry thinks about DRAM prices continuously.

From what I hear, I believe the theory will turn out to be correct. Lower DRAM prices will translate into more PC sales. Intel will sell more pentiums because the consumer wants pentiums.

Although the experts say that PC sales in the US will run around 20%, PC sales in Asia are around 40%. Asia also has two-thirds of the world's population.

We often forget that the US is only one small market compared to the global marketplace. I believe that is a natural feeling though.

Thanks for the information!
