I agree with you, although I don't really use candlestick charts... but, it doesn't mean I don't know what candlestick patterns mean... to be very honest, when I have a doubt about the chart pattern, I might take a look at the candlestick pattern, although not regularly... the open-high-low-close bar charts pretty much tell me what I need to see... my market model not only uses price patterns, it also measures time which is equally as important when "timing" a market... well, anyhow, unless the FED does something funny with the gold market again, I think the bottom for gold is already in place... GZ
