I agree in that I've seen reporters haunt a company for month upon month as if it were their personal mission to devalue the company. However, if just what he said is true, the deal is not as purely positive as was first thought. I am not short now but the story is food for thought. The last time he misrepresented Amati he had to retract his thoughts. I think he may have been more careful this time around. We should evaluate the message as well as the messenger. This is the place to get early info and pick it apart as fact or fiction. (If it is true, some people may have a rude awakening when Soros starts shorting the stock.)

I continue to like the stock long term at these prices. The deal seems to bet on AMTX volatility rather than price appreciation. I can see why they might structure it this way and why they would try to obscure the structure in legalese.
