With Chromatics' TLc-BiliTest the physician has the option of doing one simple test to get a number that corresponds to the serum bilirubin level (at any point in time)

OR

the physician is able to monitor the bilirubin level in the baby's blood by taking a "baseline" reading shortly after birth and then taking subsequent readings as time goes on - even throughout phototherapy treatment if/when needed. The device has storage capability and comes with software that can be used to generate a report for the physician from their computer system. (Yet another thing that SpectRx's device can NOT do)
