She looks very spiritual to me! I was just packing a few things to go for a weekend trip and I was ruminating about what makes some of the people on this and other threads so hatefully blind--and it occurred to me: I HAVE ENTIRELY OVERLOOKED THE OBVIOUS! They actually BELIEVE evolution is a faulty science--that we were created by a supernatural being just like the bible says! Therefore, they need to attack and hate everything about Darwin or scientists in general and they are completely blind to his humanity and his greatness and goodness. It is a revelation to me. I mean, go to any library, any classroom--we know in detail how the species have evolved. It is not some alternative religious theory like should we believe Islam or Christianity or Buddhism of Jainism or Manitou--or whatever. IT IS SCIENCE! But to these people who have given their entire heart and mind to superstition--it is just another belief system based on...just BELIEF! That is why no matter how much scripture you show them--no matter the absurdity, the contradictions, the savagery, the transparent myth...NOTHING GETS COMPREHENDED. IT is BLANK BLANK BLANK. And the response is DENY and HATE DENY and HATE. No wonder the peace of the world remains shattered till the superstitious have worked it all out between themselves and evolution has made her final advance. What a shame: with all the knowledge and awareness--all the science in the world, all the art..yet we have to wait for the superstitious to eliminate themselves from the picture before we can be at peace. Don't you just wish an earthquake would get rid of the "Holy Land" forever? But the mythology would just go on, wouldn't it? Christian scholars would find new interpretations in Numbers and Luke and Romans and Genesis and...yeah...it would just go on. There is no cure for what they have. Who is John Galt??
