There is one thing Saddam did for Shiites and Sunnis, but to a much smaller degree the Kurds, and that's give them a national Iraqi identity.

Good analysis, Frank. What this brings to mind, of course, is the Saddam/Tito similarity. And we all know what happened there.

I have the feeling that things are much better than they appear in the media. TWT.
