You may have amended this thought in your next post, but I believe we are in, and have been in, a stealth bear for months now. Only if you own select index stocks (I saw a piece on CNN this morning, where the proprietors of the Motley Fool were suggesting that investors look seriously at index funds), or are brave enough to have invested in internet tulip bulbs, have investors escaped the grips of the bear.
