I'm not sure I see what follow through you expected. They reported they were making sure that they remained in compliance with the rules of documentation required for import/export laws. They would have further meetings to continue that process. Until they actual mine and try to sell their graphite, I suspect there are no laws to be in compliance with, in terms of exporting nuclear grade graphite out of the country. They are presumably just familiarizing themselves with the laws, and making sure that nothing takes them by surprise when the actual sales can commence. Why would any announcements be anticipated?

And that bit you quoted was only a throw in accompanying the much meatier information concerning apparent ease in exfoliation for potential graphene production, in addition to the demonstration of CCB's graphite's high-order crystallinity. Our definitions of "fluff" seem to differ markedly.
