We don't have a supply problem, which is his basic premise, but a demand one.

One man's supply is another man's demand.

The right kind of stimulus will trigger an expansion of business giving people jobs giving them money to spend.

The idea that you stimulate the economy by paying people to be nonproductive is ridiculous.

If you want to make Caterpillar hire people you provide Caterpillar's customers with an incentive to buy Caterpillar's products.

This is obviously far better than just giving money to Caterpillar's laid off employees so they can watch Oprah.

Infrastructure spending, like roads and bridges? Great. Unfortunately, this bill doesn't do that -- it is a minuscule fraction of the near-trillion.

This bill is about advancing a socialist agenda. There is no significant stimulus.
