I guess we look at this differently, Fred

I do take offense at racial slurs--I think that it is uncouth, insensitive and derogatory.

As far as a member of a racial group using a slur against another member of the same racial group--yes I have heard that happen -- and I do view that as different because it is between two members who presumably understand the sensitivity of the other person. I have even known this to happen between friends who are members of different racial groups--who kid each other with these terms.

I think that it is a wholly different matter when someone uses such language on a public board where the context and intent are not known.

>>So where does that leave me,
Mr. White'eeee - Honkey - Spoiled Ass American - Yankee....?
Well...I've said all "them" words and been called them too.<<

I'd have responded the very same way if someone had posted to you or anyone else and called them the terms that you used above.

Simply put, it is possible to convey on SI, what one is trying to say without stooping to the use of racial slurs.
