As far as that is concerned, I think, it was my generation that got the ball rolling on this . It was people like yourself, Nadine, and Neocon from my generation that did the heavy lifting and where you are now getting the benefits. As they say, those are lagging indicators (or in this case lagging benefits).

I can't imagine that if you were listening to our music , including our protest songs, that some of this stuff can be going on.
