That's impossible to say because there is no transparency in C's problems. One thing is certain. The regional CA banks are heavily involved in commercial and commercial real estate loans. I don't see that area being saved by any acts of Congress where the residential mortgages might. The one fly in the ointment though is how the stocks will react to anything that is said out of D.C. Bear market rallies are breathtaking and painful if you're short. I learned my lesson in July.
