Howdy,

The 'feature' to check FAN speeds and voltage settings isn't available with Windows itself. You'd need third-party software to check these values yourself. Many motherboard manufacturers will include some basic software to check this, and configure warnings within Windows when temperature becomes in issue. (AOpen is the best for this IMO).

You'd have to check the BIOS to see if this is supported first. On boot, hit <DEL> (for most systems) to access the CMOS setup. If it's an Award BIOS, you should have two columns. It would be listed in either:

CPU Plug & Play Configuration
CPU Soft Setup
Chipset Configuration
PNP Configuration

Overall, there's normally less than 12 windows, so it shouldn't take too long to find.
