To Peter, my earthling friend *** Off Topic ***

Actually, whether the market is going up or down big town is not
really important, the only important thing is whether the dudes
in your portfolio is going the way you bet, everything else does
not matter.
As you know since the beginning of the year, especially in the
tech area, everyday the market is taking one out and shoot it.
The only one that is holding up well are the big names like MSFT,
INTC and CSCO, so it is masking a lot of weakness.
I will check out the studs you mentioned, I do respect your opinion.
I sincerly hope you will do well. (Quoting from one famous
headcoach to another before a game, 'If I don't win this game,
I hope you do')
There are so many crisis, mini-crisis out there that the people
who is in charge of Wall Street (I don't know exactly who these
people are, but I am certain they exist) that one day they decide
that they want to buy some cheap stock, and using one or more of
these as alibis, they can easily take the market down 15-20%
within weeks, which makes the public so fearful that they are going
to sell at the bottom.
The opportunity that I see right now are in 3 areas:
1. Gold, if it ever gets above $300, watch out ...
Last week, it jumps 3% in one day, and most of the gold stocks
jump almost 10% - there seems to be a lot of leverage there,
and as I mentioned before silver and platinum is higher than
last year but not gold, so relatively speaking, gold should
make a bigger move than the other 2.
2. Year 2000 stocks, their earnings will be explosive for the next
couple of years, and the winners will be those that can retain
the business after 2000.
3. Selected high tech stocks that are good quality but get beaten
down like they are going out of business.

I have had a chance to look at the charts lately, so I cannot furnish
you with specific ones that I like except in gold, I like TVX.

Anyways, the above is my thoughts about the market.

But, of course, Slick is another story, and I do not think it is
going away that easy...
Let me put it this way, all men are womanizers (except those who
do not think they can do it), but at least take a break when you
are the chief commander !!!
