Oh well, I guess I expected it. At least the stock didn't sell off this time. My guess is that the conference call will contain some upbeat news -- maybe a solid date for release of the NT machine, or the news that MIPS will be spun off. The stock might take a bounce after that. Belluzzo has had a couple of months to get used to the company, and this will be a chance to showcase his plans for turnaround. That's a call we'll all want to listen to very carefully. Anybody know the phone number yet for the conference call?

I have been thinking about MIPS and there might be a nice consolation prize here for us shareholders if that company is released as an IPO. MIPS success has hithertofore been buried inside SGI. If they spin it off, I wonder how the shares would break. Anybody have guesses about the relative breakup capitolization of MIPS versus SGI?
