I have a “current view” on my “standard Toolbar” which is customizable. Perhaps you are on the page in outlook that shows all your info like today’s calendar, to do’s, mail, appointments, etc. all on one page.

At the top try going to “GO” and from the drop down menu go to MAIL. From this page you should see “Navigation Pane” under View.
