I think USRX understands the threat of ADSL. They know that
the market window for their 56.6kbps modems will be brief.
This may be why they are pushing the technology and seeking
a software solution.

It certainly doesn't stop the need for ADSL. The 56.6kbps
modem doesn't free up my phone for incoming calls while
another member of the household surfs the web.

The good thing about the 56.6 modems is that it will begin
to fuel the development of greater bandwidth applications.

ADSL isn't far behind ... and USRX told us today that they
feel the heat.
