I can't answer any of your questions with any sort of authority. I'd suggest you try the SVGI board. They have a couple of good people who really know SVG's operations, but caution, they are almost as fanatical as the JMAR people, so don't believe the "we're the best" stuff at face value.

SVGL's technical specifications (as claimed by them, not as reported by the end users as effective) are all laid out on their web page.
