An op-ed piece of mine on the current, and somewhat disturbing, state of the Abu Sayyaf is supposed to be in Friday's International Herald Tribune. Not of much interest to anyone here - I'm actually surprised that they are running it, since it's hardly fashionable - but what the hell... I guess that makes me part of that evil liberal media. I wouldn't call the content terribly liberal. Some here might think otherwise, I'm sure.
