Hi,

I recently upgraded to Version 7.0.1 of Adobe Reader and have an observation.

This version is a serious resource hog!

I used it to view several documents and then closed it.
I noticed my system was a bit sluggish, so I looked at Task Manager.

There is AcroRd32.exe using 20% of CPU, 54MB Mem Usage and 78MB VM Size with no open application / use of it. Just the "Background".

Killed the task...sluggishness gone...

Anyone know how to make the background task die when the last document is closed?

Ira
