Dennis -- From this week's Economist: <<<A proposed new accounting system for mergers and acquisitions in America may make cash deals more attractive and all-stock deals less so. The Financial Accounting Standards Board is mulling changes that would make rules on accounting for goodwill less onerous for those firms that pay cash for their acquisitions.
