And in my earlier post I was talking about reading plays, which I enjoy doing. I wasn't sure how to respond to "plays are meant to be seen, jp". Uhm, I was aware of that. So I was pointing out that I like to read them. With a little imagination to picture the scene and cast the voices, they make great reads. Seeing them is fun, but with most I find it unnecessary for either the enjoyment, or understanding, of the play itself. I was pointing out that for me Shakespeare is an exception. I have not gotten into reading him, but did enjoy a movie made from one of his plays.
