Bush said we'd be hit by a mushroom cloud from Saddam, and Rumsfeld used the words "immediate threat" several times. Cheney did both. Cheney was the worst. Condi Rice told us about the mushroom cloud too, plus she says Euro capitols could be hit by Saddam's WMD's, a year after she said Saddam was no threat to us anymore.

There's no doubt that the position of Bush [Administration] was that Iraq was an imminent threat. The "exercise" that conservatives went through saying Bush never used the word "imminent" was just nonsense for simple minded followers of Bush.
