Reality is pretty simple. We've been saying we were in a recession for a year and you denied it. We were right and you were wrong. Simple.
Actually, you were wrong and I was right, according to the usual definition which refers to a contraction in GDP for two consecutive quarters. Until that event occurs, it isn't a recession.
When did condition occur?
The recession started only after Obama talked down the economy during the campaign. A minor blip in unemployment was turned into Democrat talking points and that more than any other thing is responsible for the current recession.
It's amazing this guy is the intellectual leader of the Republican Party.
He certainly isn't the "intellectual leader" -- but he has highly desirable characteristics of a person who can fearlessly articulate what should be the platform for the conservative agenda.
I just watched a bit of Huckabee's show -- and as you know, I think a lot of him. But 5 minutes in, Geraldine Ferraro made the claim that Bush went to war in Iraq, not for 9/11 but because he wanted to remove Saddam. An out and out liberal lie. And Huckabee NEVER EVEN QUESTIONED IT. Do you think Limbaugh would have let her slide with that? Hell no. He would have ripped her apart for that remark. As would I.
You people are weak and gullible and basically not very smart, but many conservatives just do not want the confrontation.
On this thread there are what, maybe 6-10 conservatives, and each of us routinely rips your arguments to shreds. Not one of you can fashion an argument to support your claims. We rip your heads off, day after day, and you guys blubber all over yourselves. Some, like tejek, don't even try -- and they may as well not. Sometimes you try, and just get ripped. CJ makes shit up to accommodate the circumstances. And Al, no matter how many times you make him look like a fool, doesn't even know it happened. Just bounces back for the next go-around.
This is why McCain was defeated -- he wanted to present his softer side, and allowed Obama to rip him apart with lies. And now we have a socialist (at best) and perhaps a fascist in the White House. Conservatives to quit tolerating the ignorance and abuse from liberals. |
