can msft double their revenues in the next 3 to 4 years? you must remember that the upgrade cycles for their products get larger each time. i am talking about things like c++, visual basic, win95, sql server, access, and of course their other multimedia ventures. this company is poised to do well over the long term. is a sustained growth rate of say 15% so bad? this is low historically speaking...but still solid. how can you not like this company.

one short comment on the net pc. what happens to the ideo of the net pc replacing the microsoft os when pc's start selling for 700 or 800 bucks? are you going to buy a net pc or a fully functional pc with memory, modem, monitor, etc. for a few bucks more? where are you going to store your personal files like quicken and money, on your hard drive or iomega disk or on someone's server? a pretty simple answer i think.
