Hello John:

I agree if often makes sense to keep it simple.
You are essentially buying stocks on dips after they've based.
Buying on dips has been correct ad inifinitum someday soon that will change.
That's why I'm looking for systems that put me short as well as long.
MACD in a roundabout way does what you're doing.
Where do you place your stop loss in case a minor excursion through the average proves to be soemthing more?
