SalesLogix(R) Corp. Wednesday announced the capability to integrate its SalesLogix Sales Information System(TM) to the 3Com PalmPilot(TM) connected organizer through Puma Technology's(TM) new Intellisync(TM) for PalmPilot v3.1 synchronization software.
Utilizing Intellisync, SalesLogix v3.0 users can now synchronize and update their contacts, schedules and to do lists from their desktop or notebook computers to the popular 3Com PalmPilot connected organizer. Intellisync for PalmPilot, available immediately, is sold and supported directly by Puma Technology Inc.

SalesLogix v3.0 remote and LAN users can now extend their contacts, schedules and to do list information to the Palm Computing platform-compatible handhelds, including the Palm III and PalmPilot Professional by using the Intellisync advanced synchronization software.
SalesLogix events, meetings, calls and personal activities are synchronized to the PalmPilot's Calendar. SalesLogix contacts and to do's are synchronized to PalmPilot's Address Book and To Do List.
Installing Intellisync for PalmPilot is an easy one-time setup on any SalesLogix Client PC running Windows 95, 98 or Windows NT. After installation, simply press the HotSync button located on the PalmPilot Organizer cradle and Intellisync automatically synchronizes data between the PalmPilot and the SalesLogix Client PC.
Intellisync's powerful custom filtering allows users to synchronize only the data they want by specifying exact fields and records. Conflict resolution is handled smartly and accurately on an automatic basis by marking a particular application as the source or reference. Users can also choose to be notified when a conflict occurs to compare and make decisions about the data.
Intellisync for PalmPilot can also be customized to synchronize only the SalesLogix data needed on the PalmPilot.
Pricing and Availability
Intellisync for PalmPilot v3.1 is available immediately through Puma Technology Inc. and priced at $69.95 per user for a new license or $34.95 per user as an upgrade from a previous version. Intellisync for PalmPilot is sold and supported directly from Puma Technology Inc. and its distribution channel.
