Any cut back in disclosure policies is a "blow" to investors. Its strange that they should lessen transparency especially when the CEO was quoted in the National Post as a vanguard for regulatory procedures. But then, in any corporate culture, it just takes one daft manager making a silly ass decision to tarnish an institution's credibility. VSE's regulations were far superior to ASE, but I guess, that manager from ASE can't see this.
