The "time delay factor" keeps stretching out further and further. Used to be "they'll buy next quarter", now it's out to "they'll buy next year". Apple is recovering nicely from a terrible hole it dug for itself a few years back. As yet, I'm with Orion, there is no evidence at all for a halo effect yesterday, today or tomorrow.

For me the important Q now is (calendar) Q4. If Apple's resurgence is genuine, CPU sales should blow away the ~1.5M from the same period Q5. If that happens - then, finally, maybe we got something.

Re: PMacs. They are far to slow and expensive for the "quality product" they purport to be. From I/O to graphics to etc etc etc. And the abysmal sales confirm this: they are selling at less than a 1/3 the rate they were selling at just a few years ago. No other product in Apple's lineup is in more dire need of the upcoming MacTel revamp: the upside is no product will show a more dramatic improvement.
