Apple notebooks market share slipping

news.com

It looks like powerbooks have fallen out of the top ten. Further hardware erosion but this time not from clones but wintel notebooks.

Amelio obviously got a great golden handshake from Apple. Too bad because if he was an ordinary worker, he would have been fired a long time ago.

The Next leader of Apple has to be totally open-minded and focus on marketing, strategic alliances, more on producing a true alternative OS, (There are a lot of disgruntled win95 users out there I believe).

In my opinion, the further Jobs continue to call the shots, the more damage he may do to Apple.

Regards

Steve
