I think you've hit on something important: faulty ideology.

I believe many people look at this administration as honest, strident, and dedicated (I say this is how people see them, not as they really are). What they can't or won't see is that their fundamental flaw is a faulty ideology. No matter what they say or do, they're gonna fail, because their whole premise is built on a neocon vision that just doesn't work.

And because the GOP abandoned time-tested conservative principles for this neoconism, they're drifting without an anchor. And taking the whole country with them.

How ironic. In the end, Pat Buchanan was right.
