"AIG is a basket case. It's ground zero for the CDSs from what I read." ______________________ Yep. No one talks about that, probably because no one knows what to do. Yeah I think a huge percentage of the CDS run through AIG with next to zero assets to back them. And the banks and many, many other institutions are holding the CDS paper. AIG is sort of a financial nuclear bomb. It could take out the entire landscape.
