Lower valuations in 5-10 years caused by market anticipation of demographic effects can be offset by renewed growth during this period. We may have another bubble in the making. And now that AG believes that bubbles can be popped without recession we may get one more chance to play. This time, I for one will be more cautious.
In case you were going to ask, of course Alan Greenspan will still be fed chairman--Hell, he will be fed chairman for ever, even if as John McCain said, they have to carry is cadavre into meetings and prop him up on a chair.
