Hi Sonki:

Thanks for the news, I will definily check out TLXN. This is a very small example of how thin client will be played as we go forward from this point on. It is going to be a great 1998 and beyond for SUNW!

As for HotJava Browser, this is Sun's version of web browser (like NetScape, and IE) that can run Java applets. And dont be surprised as why you had not heard of hotjava before (or so often as NetScape, or IE). SunSoft decided last year that they will only provide the raw technology for others to use and to develop products that uses that raw technology. They figured (and very smartly) it is in their best interest to be just the supplier of the raw technology (namely Java) so the tools and applications markets are encouraged to use the technology and grow, rather than it (that is Sun) trying to compete with that market. SunSoft does provide some tools (e.g. WorkShop for Java which competes with MS Visual J++, JBuilder, etc.), and also its browser (namely hotjava), but they dont make a big deal out of it. This all goes back to spreading the Java seeds all over and to encourage everyone to plant that seed!

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi
